Lutra, Institute for Conservation of Natural Heritage is a non-governmental and non-profit organization dedicated to nature conservation in the exploration of biodiversity in aquatic and riparian ecosystems, with an emphasis on the Eurasian otter (Lutra lutra) as an umbrella species. We use otter, which is also a symbol of the Institute, for educational purposes for various target groups and to raise awarness of the general public about the importance of protecting and preserving aquatic ecosystems.
