The publication “Otter in the pond” is intended for all owners of ponds whose ponds otters visit. In it you will find answers to various questions, also those people who want to build a pond. Publication was prepared in LIFE project Conservation of Otter population in Goričko. Printed publications are available at our Institute.
The “Research vagrancy” coloring book is the result of our educational program Drops of Science. With this educational coloring book we want to bring aquatic ecosystems and rational use of water closer to children. Printed coloring books are available in Otter shop.
A few decades ago, the little owl was considered a fairly frequent nesting dweller. Today is at Ljubljana moor rare and probably on the verge of extinction. You can learn about this endangered bird in “Look at little owl!” leaflet, which was created in the project “Little owl’s home at the Ljubljana Moors«, co-financed by Municipality of Ljubljana (MOL), and is available in printed version at our Institute.
The collection was issued at the end of the educational program Drops of Science and presents the most important results of the program, which was supported by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Technology, and the DOVES association with the project Ekošola as a way of life cooperated with us as a partner. The leaflet presents the non-native giant and Canadian golden-rod, which are the most common non-invasive plant species of the Ljubljana moor. The catalog “The Revealed River Wonders” presents in a unique and modern way the hidden beauty of life in our city Ljubljana. In the depths of the Ljubljanica, which flows quietly under the most famous Ljubljana landmark, the Tromostovje, the magic world of the microscopically small river diatoms of algae cohabits that Urška and Tomaž Draž captured into knitted loops.
